Waterproof Bronzer

Hourglass cosmetics has come out with a Sephora-exclusive bronzer called the Supernatural Waterproof Bronzer. Am I the only one that's a little skeptical about a powder being waterproof? It's billed as being "an extended-wear, waterproof bronzer that withstands high humidity and extreme moisture. Supernatural is the go-to bronzer for swimming, outdoor activities, and the summer heat." Just the thought of having makeup caked on my face to the point where it will withstand a dip in the pool freaks me out. On the other hand, check out the amazingly cool swivel mirror. I can't even count the times I've unsuccessfully tried to twist my head at odd angles to see my face in a compact mirror so I could apply makeup--with this compact, I'd look like a pro!

VS Beauty of Brazil Collection

Victoria's Secret just launched their limited edition Beauty of Brazil collection. My favorite item in this collection is the Silky Bronzing Powder. Available in two shades (I used Ipanema), I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer color and light shimmer. It wasn't overpowering, and gave my skin the sun-kissed radiance it promised. Plus, how can you not love the cute animal print packaging?
